Amazing Grace

Amazing grace, oh how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, though now I'm found
I was blind, but now I see
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Then when, when we first begun
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come
Jesus' grace that brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.
Amazing grace, oh how sweet the sound
To save a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
I was blind, but now I see

This song was written by a priest who regretted his sins. And wrote this song to repent.
He was a slave trader. He kept a straight face even though he hurt so many people.
He wasn't aware he was bad. He didn't realise his sins. He was like a dark demon.
Hoever, one day, the shipe he was on encoutered a storm. And because he didn't want to die, he prayed for help. Then by some miracle he was saved.
He looked at his worn out self. And this was the first time he realised the pain of the people he'd hurt. That's what I think.
He realised how dirty he had become. And from that day on, he decided to change. Before long, he became a priest...
